Levels of care at our Broomfield facility
Our Broomfield center delivers two levels of care defined by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM): medically supervised detox at ASAM Level 3.7 and integrated residential treatment at ASAM Level 3.5. Your placement is based on a medical and clinical assessment, and many people move from detox directly into residential care in the same building.
Medically supervised detox
Every client receives a full medical evaluation on arrival, including blood work, a physical, a withdrawal assessment, and a mental health assessment. Our licensed nursing staff monitors you around the clock, and our medical team may prescribe medications to make withdrawal more comfortable and reduce cravings.
We manage withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, stimulants, benzodiazepines, cannabis, and other substances in gender-specific detox units. A typical stay runs about three to five days.
Integrated residential treatment
Residential care gives you a structured, live-in setting with 24/7 medical and clinical supervision. Your plan can include individual therapy, often using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); trauma-focused therapy, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) when clinically appropriate; group therapy; and family therapy.
Stays often run about 30 to 90 days, individualized and subject to coverage authorization, with a step-down plan built before you leave.
